Lutz, Florida
Flower bar rental in Lutz
Lutz and Land O' Lakes — often outdoors, often under oaks, and lovely for it.
Working in Lutz
Shade is usually already solved out here, which opens the palette up. Lutz events also tend to be family-heavy across three generations, so we set the bar wide and keep a chair at the wrapping end for whoever needs it.
Lutz gives us the thing we ask for most and rarely get: mature trees. A bar under an oak canopy is cooler than anything we can create with a tent, and the light through leaves is the most flattering light there is for flowers.

What we have learned here
Three things worth knowing about Lutz events
When Lutz books
October through April is the good outdoor window here and it is when most of our Lutz work happens. Summer bookings we will push indoors or towards evening, and we will say so rather than take the booking and hope.
Colours that work here
Under a tree canopy the light goes green and cool, which lifts white, cream and butter and mutes pink. We build a little warmer here than the palette on paper suggests, so it lands right once it is under the branches.
The practical bit
Long unpaved driveways are common. If the last hundred feet is sand or grass, tell us — we will bring the cart in on a different rig rather than getting a loaded van stuck in your front yard.
Planning an outdoor bar? Our guide to flowers in Florida heat covers which blooms hold and which do not — and how many stems each guest needs will help you size it.
