Working in Apollo Beach
We know the waterfront back yards off Golf & Sea Boulevard, the clubhouse rooms in Waterset and MiraBay, and the Symphony Isles lanai party where the bar ends up between the pool and the seawall. It is a straight run down the interstate for us, so we can be flexible about timing here in a way we cannot always be at the far end of the map.
Most Apollo Beach bookings are at home, and most of those end up outdoors — lanai, pool deck or dock. That makes shade the first thing we talk about, not the last. Clubhouse rooms here are the easy version: hard floors, a kitchen sink within reach and doors we can carry buckets through.

Three things worth knowing about Apollo Beach events
When Apollo Beach books
March to May is our busiest stretch here, and it is the nicest one to be outside in. From June the afternoons are unworkable for an unshaded bar; a 5pm or 6pm start makes a visible difference to how the flowers look at the end.
Colours that work here
Everything here is photographed against water and white, so the bar can take stronger colour than it can indoors. Coral, butter and deep pink hold up against a bright sky where sage and cream tend to disappear.
The practical bit
Waterfront lots often have a long carry from the street to the back. Tell us where we can park and whether there is a side gate, and we will build the extra minutes into the setup rather than discovering them on the day.
